Cooler weather to return on April 19-20

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Temperature will drop in northern parts of western and central aimags on April 19 and in most of the country on April 20.
Precipitation and sleet are expected in eastern parts of the country and in western parts of western aimags on April 18, in most areas of the country on April 19, in some areas of eastern aimags on April 20 and in some areas of gobi aimags on April 21.
Wind will get stronger in areas of western and central aimags on April 18, in most parts of the country on April 19 and in gobi and prairie areas on April 20, reaching 16-18 m/sec. Occasional dust and snow storm will occur.
In the depression of Darkhad, in the head of Zavkhan river and Khuren belchir, and in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the nighttime temperature will be -5 to -10 degrees Celsius, these areas will wake up at +3 degrees Celsius and daytime temperature will hit +8 degrees Celsius.
The nighttime temperature will be -2 to -7 and the daytime temperature will be +6 to +11 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentii.
In southern parts of gobi region, the nighttime temperature will reach +5 degrees Celsius whereas the daytime high will hit +22 degrees Celsius respectively.
In other areas, the nighttime temperature will be -5 to 0 degrees Celsius and daily highs will top out at +14 degrees Celsius.
