IDC DX Day Roadshow takes place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An event ‘IDC DX Day Roadshow’ took place today with an aim to render support to entities on using information technology in their activities and on formulating strategic plan. ‘CIO Club Mongolia’ is organizing the event in partnership with the International Data Corporation (IDC) for the second time.
"Introducing information technology in the operation gives big stimulus to increase customers’ satisfaction and to create loyalty of them to be served constantly. However, entities, used to run operations under traditional method, face many difficulties such as cultural and mentality changes when they introduce information technology, underlined Steven J.Frantzen, IDC Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa Region.
IDC Regional Manager for Central Asia Andrew Beklemishev pointed out that when using information technology the priority should be assigned to ensuring cyber security. "Prevention of cyber-crime not only protects organizational reputation but also saves much money."
