Speaker M.Enkhbold holds talks with Turkish Speaker

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Parliament Speaker M.Enkhbold is paying an official visit to the Republic of Turkey at the invitation of Ismail Kahraman, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
At first day of his visit, Speaker M.Enkhbold held a tete-a-tete meeting and official talks with Speaker Ismail Kahraman. Speaker M.Enkhbold said “Mongolia highly appreciates developing relations and cooperation with Turkey, which is the third neighbor of the country and has comprehensive partnership relations with Mongolia. I am confident that the visit will contribute to keep frequency of political talks, strengthen understanding and widen the cooperation.”
The Speaker noted that the cooperation in defense and law enforcement sectors of the two countries is developing successfully and underlined the necessity to enrich trade and economic cooperation supporting constant business meetings and forums targeted to building mutual trust between businesses and investors.
Speaker M.Enkhbold mentioned that the two countries have wide possibilities to cooperate in fields of food, agriculture, light industry, infrastructure, education, culture, science, health and sports, putting certain proposals. The Speaker requested Mr.Ismail Kahraman to continue implementing projects and programs under TIKA, especially projects to develop Tsagaannuur free zone in Bayan-Ulgii province and establish a tourism complex in Orkhon Valley.

Mr.Ismail Kahraman highlighted importance of broadening friendly relations further, and developing economic cooperation not only between the two countries but also in a wider scope as well as strengthening cooperation in cultural, education and scientific spheres.
At the end of the discussion, Speaker M.Enkhbold and Speaker Ismail Kahraman signed on Action plan to implement protocol on cooperation between the two Parliaments.
