Tsagaan Sar event organized in Paris

Ambassador A.Battur opened the event with his remarks and asked Mongolist scholars and unions to cooperate closely with the Embassy. During the event Mongolist Jacques Legrand introduced guests about the history and traditions of Tsagaan Sar(Lunar New Year) festivity. Guests were, also treated to a morin khuur and traditional throat singing performances.
The Tsagaan Sar event was attented by the Mongolist professors from Paris universities, Mongolian cultural envoy, AVLOM, Educate, French-Mongolian cultural association, the Bienvenue en France organization of France's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives from Guimet Museum.
