Three-pillar development policy approved

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Cabinet has approved the 'Three Pillar development policy' during its meeting yesterday.

Relevant ministers and heads of agencies have been obliged to reflect projects and activities to be implemented within the framework of this policy in the 2018-2020 Investment Program and organize their implementation. 

Investment program was also approved during the Cabinet meeting. Regarding to this Cabinet obliged relevant officials to reflect funding sources of the projects in the Investment Program in  annual state budget and budget amendment and study and resolve financial sources other than state budget, concession agreements refundable from state budget, foreign loans and aids.

Three pillar development policy is a main document of the 2018-2020 Investment Program of Mongolia. The Government of Mongolia believes that the pivot of Mongolia's development are a good government, Mongolian people and Mongolian wealth. Therefore, the Government has defined three strategies which include "Multi-pillar economic development policy", " Stable, accountable and disciplined governance promoting justice" and "Human centered social policy" and 27 goals will be implemented under the "One policy-One State" concept.

The Government aims to fully provide the citizens with a healthy and safe food and to become a food exporting country, also start the IV industrial revolution and to put big deposits into economic circulation so that people benefit from dividends, develop mining, heavy industry and tourism and develop logistics and infrastructure. They, also focus on establishing a justice in society and strengthening the rule of law, improving discipline and responsibility, ensuring transparency in public service, strengthening justice, transparency and independence of judiciary, increasing workplaces to reduce poverty and paying more attention to citizens health and social issues.
