Parliament responds to DP demand

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Democratic Party submitted a demand to Parliament Speaker M.Enkhbold on three issues including the reduction of taxes, air pollution, amendments to the Constitution on January 10th. A response to this request was sent from Parliament to the party yesterday.

The “Request response” describes laws and regulations undertaken by Parliament, works and measures implemented jointly with the Government on reducing personal income tax, social insurance premiums and other taxes required by the demands.

A number of draft law on air pollution reduction was urgently discussed and approved by the Parliament. The parliamentary decree was formed and "Law on measures to reduce air pollution" was issued.

It was reported that the working group leader, D.Lundeejantsan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on State Structure was directed to include the Democratic Party and its representatives in the field of preparation and discussion on the draft amendments to the Constitution.

Therefore, some of the issues mentioned above have been fully resolved and it is clear that in the near future there will be relevant decisions, so the Parliament asked for no intervention to the public opinion, create political instability and do any harm to the economic and social life of the country.
