Head of standing committee Yo.Baatarbileg met Ambassador of Korea to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Head of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Social Policy, Education, Culture and Science, MP Yo.Baatarbileg met Ambassador of Korea to Mongolia U Sung on January 30.
At the meeting, Head of the Standing Committee Yo.Baatarbileg put some requests to the Ambassador including to advance cooperation in education sector to new level, to mutually organize visits of Ministers of Education and Culture of the two countries and to focus attention on increasing number of students who are studying with Governments' scholarships. regarding occasion of establishment of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Mongolia and Korea in 2020. Moreover he requested to render support to organize cultural days in the two countries, staging ‘Chinggis Khaan’ opera in a stadium of Korea and to renovate the building of Mongolian State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet.
In turn, Ambassador U Sung noted the visit of Prime Minister of Mongolia to Korea was successful and he concured to deepen relations and cooperation in the mentioned spheres. Korean Government has a willingness to widen the cooperation in tourism sector, raising number of the tourists to travel to Mongolia, the Ambassador said.
