Deputy Speaker meets Head of the Republic of Buryatia

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ On January 18, deputy Speaker L.Enkh-Amgalan met Head of the Republic of Buryatia of the Russian Federation Alexey Sambuevich Tsydenov.
L.Enkh-Amgalan said that the visit of the Head of Buryatia opens an opportunity to expand Russia-Mongolia and Buryatia-Mongolia cooperation. He emphasized an importance of developing bilateral cooperation in politics, economy and cultural sectors.
“Russia-Mongolia cooperation includes an issue regarding railway and transit transportation. We see that China’s initiative ‘One Belt and One Road’ brings a big opportunity to expand Russia, Mongolia and China economic cooperation,” MP L.Enkh-Amgalan said. He requested Alexey Tsydenov to take this issue to his attention and collaborate with the country, as he is experienced from his previous post of Road and Transport Minister of Buryatia. Moreover, two sides need to make efforts to boost tourism cooperation, he added.
In return, Alexey Tsydenov told he agrees absolutely with the Deputy Speaker on the matters and expressed a willingness to cooperate in transit transportation, railway, auto road, tourism and cultural sectors.
