Mongolian Handball Federation named as best federation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian Handball Federation (MHF) was awarded with IHF President’s Development Award 2017 for emerging federations during the 36th Ordinary Congress of the International Handball Federation (IHF) on November 11, 2017.
IHF President Dr Hassan Moustafa granted the trophy and certificate to MHF President D.Jargalsaikhan. The selection was organized for the first time among Handball Federations of developing countries based on their work performance between 2014 and 2017.
The IHF awarded the prize in recognition of the MHF’s contribution for development and spread of handball in Mongolia and in the world. MHF hosted the International Handball Federation Trophy in Mongolia in 2014, sent its athletes to Asian Games and international competitions and organized national championships in all age categories as well as international trainings. Moreover, MHF has organizing league since 2016 and established development program and has spread the handball sport in countryside. Besides, the MHF has developing relations with Asian and international handball federations.
