Officials learning Japanese disaster prevention education

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian officials are learning Japanese practice and experience on disaster prevention education.
They have been involved in a two-week workshop in Japan in scope of the Japan International Cooperation Agency's (JICA) project entitled ‘Strengthening Capacity of Earthquake Disaster Protection in Mongolia’.
The trainees include officials from the National Emergency Management Agency, the Training Center for Disaster Protection in Ulaanbaatar, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, the Education Institute and the Teachers' Development Institute. They will be introduced to Japanese an education system of disaster prevention and will visit training centers of disaster prevention and disaster risk reduction.
