Prime Minister appreciates Qatar’s readiness to invest in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh received Monday Sultan bin Salmeen al-Mansouri, Non-Resident Ambassador of Qatar to Mongolia to exchange views on the bilateral cooperation.
“Mongolia and Qatar share friendly relations. Bilateral high level visits have been paid from time to time,” said the Prime Minister, assuring the Ambassador that Mongolia’s formal invitation to Emir of Qatar still stands.
The Prime Minister remarked on the growing defense cooperation, expressing his support to opening of an Embassy of Qatar in Mongolia. Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh expressed Mongolia’s readiness to broaden cooperation with Qatar, highlighting the need to develop bilateral cooperation in trade and economic sectors. “We are thankful that Qatar is willing to invest in Mongolia,” noted the Prime Minister.
For his part, the Ambassador expressed his readiness to work towards intensification of bilateral ties in all sectors and emphasized the importance of high level visits in bilateral relationship. The Ambassador invited Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh to pay a visit to Qatar at his convenience.
