Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Gobi Great 6 event will take place again in Tsogttsetsii soum, Gobi-Altai aimag on September 25-26 to conclude its works done and discuss further actions on saving wild animals.

This is a continuation of the previous year's event. It
was organized for the first time in 2016 at the initiative of the World Wildlife Fund Mongolia (WWF Mongolia) with purposes to protect the eco-system for globally endangered species in Gobi namely wild Bactrian camel, Gobi bear, Takhi (Przewalski's horse), Khulan (wild ass), and Saiga Antelope, and Goitered gazelle, to unite the endeavor of the governmental organizations, NGOs and local people in this work. The venue was a protected area in the B section of the Gobi’s Great Protected Area named Takhi’s Steppe where the animal is being acclimatized. The participants reached an agreement to collaborate in saving endangered species in Gobi desert.

The most significant result of the last year’s event was an approval of the Takhiin Tal Appeal which included a plan of works to be done by the participants.
