Mongolia and Japan to hold consultative meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 4th Mongolia-Japan consultative meeting between the bodies on external relations, security and defense will be held on August 30 in Ulaanbaatar.

The upcoming forum will be chaired by E.Sarantogos, Director of the Mongolian Foreign Ministry Department of Asia-Pacific Countries; and Kenji Kanasugi, Director-General of the Japanese Ministry Foreign Affairs Bureau of Asian and Oceanian Affairs with participation of officials from the National Security Council (NSC), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Defense Ministry.

The parties will discuss issues of enhancing the bilateral strategic partnership relations in the political, security and defense fields and deepening the cooperation. The sides will exchange information on the international and regional security as well.

Following the meeting, the Japanese delegation is expected to be received by Ts.Munkh-Orgil, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
