Two Mongolian singers qualify for final round of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2017

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On June 11-18, the final round of  BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2017 is taking place in Cardiff, Wales. The competition for opera and art singers held every two years. Currently, twenty finalists are selected to perform in front of a jury of distinguished opera experts and equally discerning experts in the final stage of the competition.

Mongolian singers are in the top 20 list of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2017, including soloist of the Mariinsky Theater of Russia, recipient of the Order of Chinggis Khaan (the highest state prize of Mongolia), State Honored Artist G.Ariunbaatar and soloist of the State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet of Mongolia B.Batjargal.

Among the finalists are singers from Italy, the USA, the UK, Norway, Turkey, Armenia, South Korea, South Africa, Belgium and Australia.
 
Previously, soloist of the State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet of Mongolia E.Amartuvshin won the Audience Prize at the BBC Cardiff Singers of the World 2015.
