Mongolia and Buryatia cooperating on social protection for older persons

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 19, General Agency for Labour and Social Service of Mongolia inked a cooperation agreement with T.A. Bikov, Minister of Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Buryatia, Russia.
 
According to the agreement, various activities are planned, such as organizing conferences and seminars between corresponding authorities in charge of social welfare and protection and reciprocal training of specialists as well as mutual exchanges of senior people to recreation centers of two countries.

Previously, the two sides established such agreement in 2011 and 2015 respectively, and both sides have sent 100 elders to each other for recreational therapy in the scope of the agreements. This year, the mutual exchange of elders will start on May 28.
