MIAT lease Boeing aircraft from Oman Air

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/  On May 10, today, MIAT Mongolian Airlines received Boeing 737-700 aircraft from Oman Air S.A.O.C, national airline of Oman under a 2-year lease. The Boeing 737-700 aircraft has 12 business class seats and 102 economy class seats. 


MIAT Company will use the aircraft for its flights to new destinations. Starting from May 22, the national flag carrier of Mongolia will make conduct direct flights to Busan, Republic of South Korea twice a week. Also, direct flights between Ulaanbaatar and Bangkok, Thailand is on their plan beginning November 2017. 

Moreover, the company has agreed with the Oman airlines to use Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft on lease for 12 years from the first or second quarters of 2019.
