WeatherUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Snowfall is expected in northern region on February 18, some parts of central and eastern provinces and the Gobi on February 19, most parts of western provinces and western part of central region on February 20, and in most parts of central and Gobi provinces on February 21.
Winds will get stronger in most regions on February 18, in Altai Mountains on February 19-20, reaching 14-16 m/sec, in the Gobi and steppes on February 21, reaching 12-14 m/sec and forming dust and snow storms.
The temperatures will start to rise. The nighttime temperature in the depression of Darkhad and the valley of Ider and Tes rivers will be -32-37 Celsius, and the daytime, -13-18 Celsius.
In Huvsgul Mountains, banks of Orkhon-Selenge, Eg, Kharaa, Eroo, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz and Khalkh rivers and in Khuren Belchir, the nighttime temperature will be -24-29, and the daytime, -10-15.
In the front of Mongol Altai, Khangai and Khentii mountains, the nighttime temperature will be -18-23, and the daytime, -7-12.
In southern part of the Gobi, the nighttime temperature will be -10-15, and the daytime, 0+5. In other regions, the nighttime temperature will be -14-19, and the daytime, -4-9 Celsius.
It will be colder in eastern half of the territory on February 19.
