Mongolia and Kazakhstan to sign Transfer of Prisoners Agreement
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian and Kazakhstani authorities will be signing the Agreement on Transfers of Sentenced Persons during the next regular meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to take place in Kazakhstan. Minister of Justice and Domestic Affairs S.Byambatsogt and Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.I.Koblandin confirmed the decision during their meeting today.
In noting the fact that the two countries have long-standing historical and cultural ties, Mr Koblandin asserted the importance of promoting the cooperation between two nations that share lifestyle and traditional values.
The dignitaries assured there are opportunities to encourage easier travel regulations between the countries once the citizens are to strictly observe the laws and regulations.
