Training held for young diplomats
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Turkey’s Foreign Affairs successfully organized an annual training program for international junior diplomats in Ankara this April 8-22.
This year’s program, which gathered junior diplomats from 64 countries' Ministries of Foreign Affairs, was mainly focused on Turkey's current foreign policy, on social and economic development, and some regional issues.
Discussions and lectures were delivered by the Turkish well known diplomats and nobles such as Foreign Minister, Mr Mevlut Cavuşoglu and the Deputy FM Naci Koru.
At the closing ceremony, Dr. Mesut Ozcan, a Director of this Diplomatic Academy, congratulated the junior diplomats for completing their training and gave them certificates.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Turkey Mr B.Batkhishig met with Dr M.Ozcan and appreciated the Diplomatic Academy for inviting Mongolian junior diplomats every year. He also congratulated a Mongolian participant Enkhmunkh Bilegt, Attache, Department of Public Administration, on his successful completion.
The sightseeing and touring part of the 22nd International Junior Diplomats Training Program will continue in Nevşehir and İstanbul this April 22-30, when they will visit historical and cultural places.
