Speaker Z.Enkhbold meets Polish delegation
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) Z.Enkhbold Friday received Ms Maria Koc, a Deputy Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, who is taking part in the ASEP9 in Ulaanbaatar.
Thanking the delegation for participating in the ASEP9, the Speaker underlined vital roles of the inter-parliamentary and the Parliamentary Offices' ties in the bilateral relationship.
He said his last year's official visit to Poland was fruitful and underlined a significance of the 2014 and 2015 visits of the Deputy Marshals of the Polish Sejm to Mongolia for attending the OSCE Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
Ms Koc said her country wants to expand the inter-parliament cooperation with Mongolia, and pointed out that the newly-formed parliament has established the Poland-Mongolia friendship group in the very first turn.
The Speaker said it is important to support the cooperation between the friendship groups at the parliaments in boosting the inter-parliamentary ties, and proposed organizing mutual visits and meetings in order to activate the collaboration between the inter-parliamentary groups, to exchange officials of the Parliamentary Offices, and to work together on training the staffers.
The parties also shared views on boosting the Mongolia-Poland cooperation in trade and economy and to continue dynamic ties in education, culture and scientific spheres.
Mr Enkhbold expressed a satisfaction with an intention of Poland’s PM to take part in the upcoming 11th ASEM Summit in Ulaanbaatar.
