Deputy Premier of Belarus visiting here

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mr V.I.Semashko is paying a visit to Mongolia these days.

He has met with Z.Bayanselenge, the Minister of Road and Transportation, and with R.Burmaa, the Minister of Food and Agriculture, to share views on boosting of the Mongolia-Belarus cooperation in the above spheres.

During the visit, Mongolia’s Minister of Food and Agriculture and her Belarus counterpart have held the first working group meeting and have established a protocol. The working group meeting was co-chaired by N.Ariunbold, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, and by A.M.Subbotin, the Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture of Belarus.

On Thursday, Mongolia’s Deputy PM Ts.Oyunbaatar held official talks with the Belarusian Deputy PM to exchange views on broad issues of the bilateral cooperation. The sides expressed a mutual satisfaction with an active development of the bilateral friendly relations and concurred to accelerate actions for enriching the ties with economic contents.

They highlighted that the two countries have opportunities to activate the relations in areas of construction, urban development, road, agriculture, sciences and in a preparation of experts, and agreed to study a chance to finance some mutually-beneficial projects.

After the official talks, Mr Semashko paid a courtesy call on the PM Ch.Saikhanbileg. The latter noted specific proposals on cooperation from the Belarusian side could be resolved in near future, and that the government of Mongolia will focus on them.

The Deputy PM of Belarus also met with E.Bat-Uul, the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city.

On Friday, the Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren exchanged views on the bilateral issues with the Belarusian Deputy PM.
