Loss of animals goes upEconomy
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ This January, natural losses of adult animals reached 118.4 thousand heads nationwide, increasing 109.7 thousand heads or 13.6% against the previous year.
Some five thous. heads of the lost animals were horses, 14.9 thousand--cattle, 41--camels, 38.9 thousand heads--sheep, and 59.3 thousand heads--goats. It means that 32.9% of the total animals were sheep, 50.1%--goats.
In the first one month of this year, a number of the lost animals, caused by diseases, reached 1.8 thousand heads, increasing 1.2 thousand or 3.1 times against the precious year.
