Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A memorandum of mutual understanding concerning the center was signed on Thursday by authorities of Ulaanbaatar, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Asia Foundation (AF).

The center for businesswomen is expected to open this July to provide women with big opportunities to start up small- and middle-sized business, to hold workshops and meetings and other actions.

During the signing ceremony, the UB Mayor E.Bat-Uul thanked the KOICA and the AF for rendering financial support to the center and hoped that this center will significantly contribute to positive changes for women.

To be implemented within three years, a project on the center for businesswomen aims to abolish the gender inequality in the economic development and in business, to hold workshop, to render various business services for women, to help them promote their businesses, and to provide them with financial support.
