More border checkpoints to allow exit of raw meat and animal by-products
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In order to alleviate agricultural industry and trade of western and eastern regions and to promote meat exports, the Cabinet made Monday some changes to the issued in 2003 a resolution No 173 on designating the List of Border Checkpoints to allow access and pass for plant seed, seeding, animal, their embryos, raw meat and by-products, and samples of microorganisms.
The List now includes border checkpoints Burgastai of Govi-Altai aimag and Gashuunsukhait of Omnogovi aimag for exporting raw meat and animal by-products.
