Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first 11 months of 2015, total revenue and grants of the General Government Budget (GGB) amounted to MNT 5,030.2 billion, total expenditure and net lending amounted to MNT 6,132.4 billion, representing a deficit of MNT 1,102.2 billion in the balance.

In November, total revenue and grants of the Master Budget amounted to MNT 461.0 billion. This shows a decrease of 62.4 billion or 11.9 percent from the previous month. Total expense amounted to MNT 647.8 billion, showing an increase of 76.5 billion or 13.4 percent from the previous month. However, the balance of the Master Budget had a deficit of 186.8 billion, which reflects an increase of MNT 138.9 billion or 2.9 times against the end of October.

Tax revenue decreased by MNT 182.7 billion or 4.0 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. This decrease was mainly due to decreases of MNT 318.6 billion or 25.9 percent in value added tax and of MNT 51.9 billion or 5.5 percent in Income tax, MNT 33.2 billion or 10.2 percent in taxes on international trade and transactions, whereas excise taxes decreased MNT 121.7 billion or 29.5 percent and social contribution increased MNT 58.0 billion or 6.8 percent and other taxes--by MNT 32.6 billion or 4.8 percent.

In the first 11 months of this year, total expenditure and net lending of the Master Budget reached MNT 6,132.4 billion. It increased by 424.1 billion or 7.4 percent compared to the same period of last year. This increase mainly reflected the increases of 165.0 billion or 7.3 percent in expenditure on goods and services, 162.2 billion or 46.1 percent in interest payments and 141.3 billion or 8.1 percent in current transfers, whereas capital expenditure decreased MNT 28.4 billion or 2.4 percent, subsidies–by MNT 25.1 billion or 17.5 percent compared to the same period of last year.
