Mongolia to cooperate with Italian Sachi Agency

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian Minister of Industry D.Erdenebat met November 23 with the Vice Minister for Economic Development of Italy Mr Carlo Calenda, on the sidelines of his visit to Europe.
The Italian Vice Minister expressed an interest in cooperating with Mongolia in the supply of raw materials such as leather.
The sides also discussed a cooperation ways in producing value-added products through introducing hi-tech to Mongolia’s agricultural industry. In light of this, the Italian SACHI Agency had conducted an assessment of Mongolia’s leather market. The Ministers agreed to formulate a Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) in order to activate the cooperation between the two countries' professional unions specialized in agriculture, food production, wool and cashmere industries. The sides also concerned the issue of ensuring security during the ASEM Summit. which will in Ulaanbaatar next year.
