        8月3日是蒙古国铁路运输成立80周年。乌兰巴托铁路历史博物馆于1970年建立在乌兰巴托铁路机械信息宫旁。1983年8月，重新修建并扩大该博物馆。它收藏着蒙古国自1938年成立铁路运输以来的2000多件相关珍贵物品。比如蒙俄铁路合作以及与其它国家铁路建立合作关系时的历史照片、铁路工人用过的机械设备、制服、勋章、铁路规章制度、说明和相关书籍、电影、纪念品等。
