台湾驻蒙古国代表黄国荣于4月10日代表台湾政府向蒙古国后杭爱省捐赠总数53套的防烧烫伤护栏和置物架，以保护在当地蒙古包幼儿园、托儿所就读的孩童免遭包内锅炉烧烫伤的危险。据了解，台湾去年9月向该省还捐赠一座偏乡简易医疗站。
根据统计，2017年全蒙古国6000多件烧烫伤案例中，有将近七成的伤者是孩童，可见孩童烧烫伤问题严重，亟需各界关注与合力因应。
台湾已向库苏古勒省及后杭爱省陆续赠送防烧烫伤护具，预计将向有不少蒙古包幼儿园的乌兰巴托市松根海尔汗区以及蒙古其他省份。
