President meets Ambassador of Kazakhstan
Kh.Battulga, the President of Mongolia, received Tuesday Mr K.I.Koblandin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Mongolia, in the State House. The Ambassador conveyed to the President a congratulatory letter on being elected as the new State Head of Mongolia, from Nursultan Nazarbeyev, the President of Kazakhstan. Mr Battulga also expressed thanks to his counterpart of Kazakhstan.

President addresses investors’ convention
Kh.Battulga, the President of Mongolia participated in the monthly convention of Mongolian and foreign investors and businessmen held Monday at the “Blue Sky” hotel. After being introduced as a former experienced businessman and taxpayer, Mr Battulga thanked the Business Council of Mongolia (BCM) for holding this convention, and pointed out he met the public representation for the first time 32 days later of his oath.

"Mongolia wants to augment trade turnover with Turkey"
Mongolia-Turkey cooperation, especially in the fields of economy and business are needed to be gone into a new volume, said J.Munkhbat, head of the Cabinet Secretariat for Government, when he met Monday Mr Fatih Ciftci, the Turkey’s Deputy Minister of Customs and Trade. He added Mongolia intends to increase the bilateral trade turnover to USD 250 million.

International Children’s Games start
Opening ceremony of the 7th International Children’s Games (ICG) took place last Saturday on the Chinggis Khaan Square, Ulaanbaatar. Apart from the host country, the ICG is being participated by over 1,000 athletes of Russia and Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region of China, to compete in 11 events. This year’s Games added new events—futsal, taekwondo, tennis and some team competitions.

Mongolia-China Expo to be organized next month
The Second Mongolia-China Expo will be held on September 26-30 in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China, the Ministry of Food and Light Industry reported Monday. The expo is co-organized by the Mongolia’s Ministry of Food and Light Industry, the China’s Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region. Thus, a working group on the forthcoming event held its meeting on Monday in Ulaanbaatar.
