Eastern aimags discussing joint development with bordering Chinese region

Teams of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan complete their short-distance mixed relay
On August 7, the short-distance mixed relay event kicked off. The participants have to cover the distance of 3.1 km by foot and 4.1 km on horseback, doing five missions such as throwing grenades and going through obstacles as they go along the course.

With the teams of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan finishing their 130 km long-distance march on horseback, the teams of Mongolia and Russia set off from the starting line at 8 am and 10 am respectively on August 5.

Mongolia-Indian IT outsourcing center to be built
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ State Secretary of Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports B.Bayarsaikhan received delegates of Indian “Lovely International Trust” company, which was selected as an executor of the second complex project “Mongolia-India Information Technology Education and Outsourcing Center” to be implemented by the Ministry. The center, to be built by the soft loan from the Indian Government and Export–Import Bank of India, will be equipped with the latest technologies and engineers and instructors to work at the center will also be trained.

Thunderstorm forecast prompts flood warning
As thunderstorms are expected in some parts of the eastern region, in the northern part of the western region, and in the eastern part of the aimags in central and Gobi region today on August 6, the National Emergency Management Agency has issued a warning for flood and strong winds.

Khentii aimag to be developed as historical tourist area

Head of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government and Minister of Mongolia L.Oyun-Erdene  worked in Bayankhutag and Galshar soums of Khentii aimag as a member of Parliament during the last weekend. In accordance with a government resolution to develop Khentii aimag as a historical tourist zone, numerous works are being carried out in different soums of the aimag, reflecting each of their unique features.
