Auto road Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait repaired

Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh previously gave an order to improve road signs along the Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait auto road and create proper rest areas for long-distance truck drivers. In this connection, the repair work of 239 km long auto road with a heavy load carrying capacity from Tavantolgoi deposits to Gashuunsukhait port is completed and was commissioned.

On August 28, an aerial show by the aerobatic demonstration team of the 234th Guards Aviation Regiment of the Russian Air Force was held at the Khui Doloon Khudag in Ulaanbaata. The performance was part of many events planned for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Khalkhiin Gol Battle, which took place from May 11 to September 16, 1939.
Maximum number of alternative military personnel set
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On August 28, the Cabinet approved the maximum number of personnel to serve in the alternative military service in 2020.
Regulation on best herders and agricultural workers renewed
At its meeting held on August 28, the Cabinet approved an updated version of the regulation to select the best herder families, farmers and dairy farmers. The necessary funds for their awards will be allocated to annual state budget.
Some lands in Ulaanbaatar taken as state special-use lands
On August 28, the Cabinet decided to acquire a 10 ha land in Baganuur District of Ulaanbaatar under state special use in order to build a hazardous waste facility as well as take the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant in Songinokhairkhan District and 22 ha land around ash handling tank of the Thermal Power Plant 4 to treat and bury sewage sludge. Their position of a geographic location, size and boundaries were also redefined.
Governor of Darkhan-Uul aimag attends forum on Northeast Asian cooperation

Governor of Darkhan-Uul aimag S.Naranbat took part in the Northeast Asian round-table meeting on cooperation held in Changchun city of the Jilin province in the northeast China on August 21-14. The meeting held under the theme “Creating new, better future for the Northeast Asia by improving mutual trust and cooperation” was attended by governors of 18 provinces of five countries, Mongolia, Russia, Japan, South Korea and North Korea.
