UN Special Rapporteur on human rights defenders to visit Mongolia

/MONTSAME/ United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights
defenders Michel Forst is to pay an official visit to Mongolia between April 30
and May 13.
During his visit, Mr. Michel Frost will meet government officials, local authorities, human rights defenders, representatives of civil societies, and others to discuss good practices of human rights defenders and challenges they are facing. A report on the Special Rapporteur’s visit will be presented to the UN Human Rights Council next year in March.
