Health Minister meets Chief Representative of JICA Mongolia Office

/MONTSAME/ Minister of Health D.Sarangerel presented the ‘Honorary Badge’ of health
sector to Sato Mutsumi, Chief Representative of Japan International Cooperation
Agency (JICA) Mongolia Office in recognition of his significant contribution
and dedication to the sector’s development.
Extending
gratitude to Mr. Sato Mutsumi, Minister D.Sarangerel mentioned that the two
sides have been jointly implementing many projects and programs under
non-project grant aid, the Grant Assistance of Grassroots Human Security
Projects (GGP) Program, as well as technical cooperation. She instanced how the
necessary equipment supplied under the non-project grant aid meet demands of
health care institutions and the projects being implemented under technical
cooperation enhance capacity of health professionals and contribute to learning
of best practices.
The sides also discussed current progress of the projects being jointly implemented and some challenging issues.
