Minister Naranbayar Meets Mongolian Students Studying at Manas University

Bishkek, July 24, 2025 /MONTSAME/. As part of the State Visit of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa to the Kyrgyz Republic, Minister of Education of Mongolia Naranbayar Purevsuren and Education, Science, and Technology Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia Lodoiravsal Choimaa visited Manas University.
During the visit, Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic Baktiyar Orozov and Rector of Manas University Alpaslan Ceylan held discussions with the Mongolian delegation on expanding higher education cooperation.
The parties exchanged views on strengthening collaboration between universities, launching joint archaeological research among Mongolia, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Republic of Türkiye, facilitating academic staff exchanges, and hosting visiting professors. The Kyrgyz side was briefed on the current state of higher education in Mongolia and expressed readiness to receive Mongolian students in its universities.
Currently, 49 Mongolian students are studying successfully at Manas University, and 19 more have registered for the 2025–2026 academic year. The Kyrgyz side also announced that it recognizes the results of Mongolia’s university entrance examinations. Manas University offers education in Kyrgyz, Russian, English, and Turkish languages.
