Ever-Expanding Relations and Cooperation Between Ulaanbaatar and Ningbo City

Ulaanbaatar, July 3, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Prime Minister of Mongolia L. Oyun-Erdene visited Ningbo city, Zhejiang
province, during his official visit to China on June 30.
During the
official talks between Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene and Premier Li Qiang of
the State Council, several agreements on the revival of border ports and the
energy sector were finalized. Whereas,
the visit by the Prime Minister to Ningbo City was taken place as part of the
Industry Revival goal of the New Revival Policy of the Government of
Mongolia.
Prime Minister
L. Oyun-Erdene met with the management of Zhejiang province, exchanged views on
bilateral relations and cooperation, and agreed to collaborate towards
establishing a steel plant within the framework of the goal of Industry
Revival.
Moreover, the
Prime Minister introduced the “New Revival Policy” of the Government of
Mongolia and proposed that Mongolia and Zhejiang province can maintain
cooperation in the industry, energy, urban development, green development,
agriculture, and science sectors.
Both parties
expressed their delight at the expanding relations and cooperation between
Ulaanbaatar and Ningbo City, particularly in areas such as culture, art, and
humanitarian efforts since 2017.
The Prime Minister visited Ningbo Jintian Copper Group Co., Ltd, and Ningbo Iron & Steel Co., Ltd to familiarize himself with their operations.
