Mongolia’s commitment expressed to contribute to global efforts for peace and sustainable development

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The 45th Meeting of
Foreign Ministers of the Group of 77 and China was held on November 30 in New
York, at which Minister of Foreign Affairs B. Battsetseg virtually attended and
delivered remarks.
It is significant that the Group of 77 ministers convene online to discuss solutions and policies and share their experiences on how to overcome challenges and implement SDGs at a time when the pandemic is having a devastating impact on the societies and economies of developing countries, emphasized Ms. Battsetseg in her remarks.
She also noted the Mongolian Government’s consistent
implementation of its ‘Vision 2050’ long-term development policy document in
line with the ‘2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development’ and underscored that
the actions for economic recovery, green development policy and vaccination are
yielding results.
In the conclusion of her remarks, Ms. Battsetseg said that
the significance of South-South and trilateral cooperation would continue to
grow in the present when the pandemic threat has not yet disappeared, and in
post-epidemic period, and reaffirmed Mongolia’s commitment to contribute to
global efforts for peace, security, economy and sustainable development and
work closely with member states.
