Cold temperatures to continue in most parts of the country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Weather is expected to be stable with low temperatures in most parts of the country in the next few days.
Snowfall is expected in the mountainous areas of Khuvsgul and Khentei tomorrow on December 16, in the northern region on December 17, and in the mountainous areas of Khangai and Khuvsgul on December 18 and 19.
Wind speed will reach 13-15 m/sec in the country’s eastern region on December 16 and 17.
In the depression of Darkhad, in the head of Zavkhan river, and near Khurenbelchir, the temperature will range from -39 to -44 degrees Celsius during the night, and -26 to -31 during the day.
In the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, and in the basins of Ider, Tes, Tuul, Terelj, Kharaa, Yuruu, and Kherlen rivers, the temperature will be -33 to -38 during the night, and -20 to -25 during the day.
In the southern parts of the Gobi region, the night-time temperature will be -16 to -21 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be -14 to -19 degrees Celsius.
