Emergency service of Mongolia receives 40 fire trucks from Belarus

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A ceremony to receive 40 fire-rescue vehicles, which are being supplied to the emergency management service within the framework of Mongolia-Belarus Intergovernmental General Agreement on the Provision of Export Loan, took place on October 7 at Sukhbaatar square.


These fire-rescue vehicles are designed with additional equipment and tools taking into account of the climatic characteristics and road conditions of Mongolia and fitted with up-to-date firefighting and rescue equipment.


Corresponding officials received the fire-rescue vehicles and handed over them to the central and rural emergency management departments. Thus, provision of designated fire trucks of emergency management service will be increased by 14.4 percent.


Present at the handover ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Ya.Sodbaatar, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Mongolia Stanislav Chepurnoy, Chief of the NEMA, Brigadier General G.Ariunbuyan, Acting Governor of the Capital City J.Batbayasgalan and Deputy Director of Technical Development Service of POZHSNAB LLC Pavel Vitalyevich.
