Temperature set to drop following precipitation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Rain and wet snow are expected in mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, and Khuvsgul on September 24, in some parts of western aimags and western parts of central aimags on September 25, and in some parts of western and eastern aimags and northern parts of central aimags on September 26.
Wind speed will reach 18-20 m/sec before rainfall in the western region on September 24 and 25, and in the Gobi and plains on September 26 and 27.
In the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, near Khurenbelchir, and in the head of Zavkhan river,, the temperature will range from 0 to -5 degrees Celsius during the night, and +12 to +17 during the day.
In the depression of the Great Lakes and the Gobi region, the temperature will be +8 to +13 during the night, and +21 to +26 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be +1 to +6 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +18 to +23 degrees Celsius. Temperatures are expected to drop throughout the country from September 26.
