Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in the eastern region in the next few days.
Rainfall is expected in some parts of western and central aimags, southern parts of Gobi aimags, and eastern parts of eastern aimags on August 29, in some parts of western aimags, most parts of central and eastern aimags, and eastern parts of Gobi aimags on August 30, in most parts of central aimags and northern parts of western and eastern aimags on August 31, and in some parts of central and eastern aimags on September 1.
Wind speed will be 6-11 m/sec during the days, with stronger winds before rainfall.
In the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentii, near Khurenbelchir, in the basins of Baidrag, Ider, Tes, and Terelj rivers, the temperature will range from -1 to +4 degrees Celsius during the night, and +11 to +16 during the day.
In the Gobi region, the temperature will be +12 to +17 during the night, and +23 to +28 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be +6 to +11 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +15 to +20 degrees Celsius.
