Special Focus to be Given to Enhance Trade and Economic Cooperation

Ulaanbaatar, April 15, 2026 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh met with Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia, Almas Seitakynov, on April 13.
During
the meeting, Minister Battsetseg expressed satisfaction with the steady development
of Mongolia-Kazakhstan relations and cooperation, noting that cooperation
across key socio-economic sectors has reached the level of a Strategic
Partnership as a result of the sustained efforts and close collaboration
between the two countries’ heads of state in recent years.
She
requested the Ambassador to actively work toward ensuring the preparations for high-level
visits to be carried out with that country this year and to further expand and
develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
Ambassador Seitakynov reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing bilateral relations by placing greater emphasis on practical trade and economic cooperation. He also underlined the importance of intensifying exchanges of delegations at all levels and expanding inter-regional collaboration.
