Ulaanbaatar, April 10, 2026 /MONTSAME/. After meeting with residents of Baganuur district and the staff of Baganuur JSC, President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa visited Yusunshand LLC, which has joined the National Movement “Food Revolution”.
Since 1993, the company has been producing bread, bakery products, and cakes, supplying the needs of the district, six neighboring soums, as well as five kindergartens and schools. Within the framework of the “Food Revolution”, the company obtained concessional working capital and investment loans, enabling it to expand production capacity and increase its product range from five to eleven varieties.
According to Director General Nyambaatar B., production volume increased by 68 percent—from 107 tonnes in 2023 to 180 tonnes at present—and the company currently supplies 20–25 percent of the district’s market demand.
President Khurelsukh expressed appreciation to the company’s management and staff for producing food locally, creating jobs, and contributing through tax payments. Yesunshand LLC has set targets to commission a new factory building next year, install fully automated equipment, utilize renewable energy sources, create new jobs, and supply 50 percent of the district’s market.
Between 2022 and 2025, more than 2,500 enterprises nationwide received long-term, low-interest concessional loans totaling MNT 1.3 trillion under the “Food Revolution”. As a result, the production capacity of participating enterprises has at least doubled, 53 factories have been commissioned, and more than 1,000 new food products are now being manufactured, according to the Office of the President of Mongolia.
