Over 110 Works by 17 Caricaturists on Display

April 2, 2026 /MONTSAME/. To mark April Fools’ Day, a joint exhibition of
caricature artists was opened to the public on April 1, 2026, at the Art Center
for Children’s Creativity.
The exhibition
features works by both renowned and emerging Mongolian artists from different
generations. In total, more than 110 pieces by 17 caricaturists are on display,
expressing social life and human nature through satire and irony.
The exhibition
includes works by People’s Artist Baidi Tseveg, Honored Worker of Culture Bat-Erdene
A., Ulziibat L., Doctor of Art Studies and Professor Molomjamts M., “Bolor
Tsom” laureate poet and caricaturist Amarkhuu M., satirical writer and artist
Amarsaikhan A., caricature artist and teacher Puudorj P., Bold S., as well as
works by the late veteran caricaturist Chimed-Dorj S., among others. The
exhibition will be open to visitors for one week.
Starting from 2027, the Union of Mongolian Artists will organize a special annual caricature exhibition every April 1.
