We Are a Family of Donors
Mongol Pulse
Ulaanbaatar, February 11, 2026 /MONTSAME/. I have been working as a technologist- junior doctor at the Blood Bank of the Central Hospital of Uvs aimag for 26 years.
Since I began working at the
blood bank, I have donated blood and have become an honorary donor. My husband
is also an honorary donor. Now our son has started donating blood as well.
Donors are kind-hearted people
who voluntarily give their blood to help save the precious lives of those who
have suffered blood loss due to accidents, illnesses, and other unexpected
causes. I truly love my work of collecting blood from these generous
individuals and preparing it for those in need.
There is a misunderstanding that donating blood causes fatigue, weakness, or anemia. In reality, the blood replenishes itself within 2–3 months, and by donating, you are giving the gift of life to others.
