Foreign Minister Participates in Critical Minerals Ministerial

Ulaanbaatar, February 6, 2026 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh participated in the International Ministerial Meeting on Critical Minerals, held on February 4, 2026, during her working visit to the United States at the initiative of United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
The meeting has brought together ministers from 55 countries, along with other representatives responsible for mining and mineral resources.
Representatives of critical mineral-producing and consuming countries met to reach a shared understanding and express their commitment to cooperation to ensure the stable and reliable supply and processing of critical minerals, which are essential for economic growth and advanced technology manufacturing.
The International Ministerial Meeting on Critical Minerals aims to expand cooperation in the critical minerals sector by promoting private sector partnerships and investment.
