Over 200 Rare Equine Cultural Exhibits on Display

exhibition “Unu Munkhiin Molor Erdene” (The Everlasting Topaz Jewel) opened at
the National Museum of Mongolia on February 1, 2026.
In honor of the upcoming Lunar New
Year, the exhibition showcases Mongolian equine cultural symbols and horse totems
from the museum’s collection, as well as from the personal collection of the Head
of the Mandala Religious Center, the Mongol Ikh Tsam project lead, Honored
Worker of Culture of Mongolia Batbayar Sengebazar.
The exhibition, which features over
200 rare artworks and equestrian equipment such as equine-culture-related deities,
religious objects, Mongolian paintings, and sculptures, is significant in its
aim to present a comprehensive representation of the connection between equestrian
culture and horse totems.
It is a special exhibition of great cultural significance for families, children, youth, researchers, and tourists during the Lunar New Year.
