Mongolia Participates in the World-Leading Defense Exhibition 'DIMDEX-2026'

Ulaanbaatar, January 20, 2026 /MONTSAME/. The international defense exhibition “DIMDEX-2026,” bringing together defense ministers and senior armed forces officials from more than 80 countries, as well as over 200 leading developers of advanced military technologies, has opened in Doha, the State of Qatar.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the exhibition is being held under the patronage of the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Mongolia is participating in the event at the invitation of the organizers, represented by a delegation led by Member of Parliament and Government Member, Minister of Defense Batlut Damba.
The exhibition is being organized for the ninth time at the Qatar National Convention Centre under the theme “The Global Hub for Defense Innovation: Investing in Opportunities for a Safer Tomorrow.”
As one of the world’s leading events in the fields of international and maritime security, “DIMDEX 2026” will convene key decision-makers from around the globe for four days of strategic cooperation, high-level meetings, and discussions.
The State of Qatar is one of Mongolia’s important partners in the defense sector. Mongolia’s participation in the exhibition is notable not only for studying technological advancements and emerging opportunities but also for elevating bilateral military cooperation to a new level. In this context, the two sides are extending the implementation period of previous agreements and signing new accords related to joint exercises, personnel training, and other areas of cooperation.
