Federal President of the Republic of Austria Arrives in Mongolia for a State Visit

Ulaanbaatar, May 25, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, Federal President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen and First Lady Doris Schmidauer arrived in Mongolia on May 25, 2025, for a State Visit. 


Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Mongolia Andreas Riecken, and other officials greeted Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen, First Lady Doris Schmidauer, and the Austrian delegation at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport on May 25, 2025.


Mongolia and the Republic of Austria established diplomatic relations on July 1, 1963. This is the first State Visit by the President of the Republic of Austria to Mongolia.
