Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Mongolia Delivers Honorary Lecture “Future of Mongolia-China Relations”

Ulaanbaatar, March 25, 2025 /MONTSAME/. In line with the “Ambassador’s Podium” honorary lectures organized by the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia Shen Minjuan was invited as a guest speaker and delivered an honorary lecture on March 25, 2025.


“Ambassador’s Podium,” co-hosted by the Presidium of MAS and the Institute of International Studies of MAS, was officially opened by President of MAS and Academician Demberel Sambuu. In his remarks, Mr. Demberel emphasized the long-standing and rich tradition of cooperation between Mongolia and China in the fields of science and education. Mr. Demberel Sambuu noted that this collaboration has been steadily expanding, with thousands of Mongolian students pursuing higher education and academic degrees at Chinese universities and scientific institutions, and at present, China is Mongolia’s largest partner and investor in the education and scientific sectors.


On this occasion, Ambassador Shen Minjuan delivered a lecture on “China’s High-Quality Development Policy and the Future of Mongolia-China Relations.” In her honorary lecture, Ambassador Shen Minjuan mentioned China’s development policies and strategies, the current state and prospects of Mongolia-China relations, and opportunities for expanding cooperation in science, technology, culture, and education.


As of 2024, Mongolia maintains diplomatic relations with all 193 United Nations member states, while MAS collaborates with over 50 foreign countries. This year, MAS plans to renew agreements with several partner institutions and engage in major joint research projects, contributing to both scientific progress and national development.
