President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Visits Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia

At the invitation of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid a State Visit to Mongolia on October 29, 2024. During the State Visit, the Head of State visited the Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia on October 29, 2024.
President Tokayev and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by the Director of the Chinggis Khaan Museum of Mongolia, Academician Chuluun Sampildondov, at the Museum’s entrance. The officials were given a guided tour of Mongolia’s history and cultural heritage.
During the tour, President Tokayev viewed a model of the Mausoleum of Zuchi Khaan, gifted in 2021 by Darkhan Kadyri, President of the International Turkic Academy. President Tokayev expressed sincere gratitude to the well-curated Museum, which offers a comprehensive view of Mongolia’s rich history, and emphasized His intention to return for another visit.
President Tokayev is the seventh Head of State to visit the Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia.
After touring the main exhibition halls, President Tokayev signed the Book of Honored Guests, marking this visit as a significant chapter in the history of bilateral relations, as reported by the Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia.
Mongolia and the Republic of Kazakhstan established diplomatic relations on January 22, 1992.
